[unpaid/affiliate] I’m signed up to three lifestyle discount sites and have happily bought from all of them, especially during lock down when I had a bit of a homeware spree. One of them is Secret Sales – the others are Brand Alley and Zalando Lounge – and they certainly do throw up some surprises. I sign up for one email a day (otherwise you get bombarded so the first priority is to get your preference settings right) and low and behold, yesterday’s SS email lead me to discounted Sosandar, which Marks & Spencer have taken on as one of their guest brands. I’ve had my eye on this label since I started getting brochures a couple of years ago and it certainly aligns with how I like to dress. Its one of very few brands that really gets how older women don’t want to be sidelined by fashion or forced into any particular niche – it’s a suit-all attitude I think and I love it. So, I’ve rounded up a few dresses that (conveniently) were all £69 and now are £48.30 that will adapt easily to other seasons and I could easily find myself in. At the Sosandar website HERE, there is 20% off everything (at the time of writing) using code SMILE which doesn’t quite bring the dresses I’m featuring into alignment because they’re 30% off. Having had a disappointing January sales experience, my shopping mojo has suddenly shot up.
I can quite see myself in this on holiday. It’s available in sizes 6-20 HERE. I should also add that their faux leather leggings come in three lengths which is an attention to detail I’m grateful for at 5ft 3ins although I don’t see myself in gold or navy faux :-). I am not ready for that disco.
Once again, a very easy wear. Add sunglasses, gold bangles and go. It’s available in sizes 6-18 HERE.
Animal print is going nowhere so I like how this shakes things up a bit away from leopard print (plenty of those, too) with a red hit zebra. It’s HERE in sizes 6-16.
I’ve just pulled out a few pieces that caught my eye but there are lots of items on both sites – tops, bottoms, dresses and lounge. I think the brand is careful with necklines – they’ll often offer a peep of cleavage instead of a full plunge – and the sleeves on (most of) these dresses are sheer so are wearable in hot weather if you prefer to cover your arms (I come and go on this one). The little-bit-party-little-bit-office black dress in the main picture is HERE.
